The terms governing your use of Repolaris.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Repolaris ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the Repolaris platform, including all websites, applications, and APIs.
  • "User", "you", "your" refers to the individual or entity using the Service.
  • "We", "us", "our" refers to Repolaris.
  • "Content" means any information, data, text, software, code, or other materials.
  • "User Content" means Content that users submit, post, or transmit to the Service.

Account Terms

Account Creation

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You may not share account credentials.
  • You may not use another person's account without permission.
  • You may not create multiple accounts to evade limitations.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Abuse the Service
  • Create risk or legal exposure for us

You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

Acceptable Use

You May

  • Use the Service for lawful purposes
  • Create, store, and manage repositories
  • Collaborate with others
  • Use the API according to documentation

You May Not

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code or malware
  • Attack or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Scrape or collect data without permission
  • Impersonate others
  • Spam or send unsolicited messages
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls

Content Restrictions

You may not post Content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive
  • Contains malware or harmful code
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Violates privacy rights
  • Is deceptive or fraudulent

User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of User Content you create. We do not claim ownership of your code, data, or other materials.

License to Us

By posting Content, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and display your Content
  • Provide the Service features
  • Make backups for disaster recovery
  • Perform necessary technical operations

This license is limited to what's necessary to operate the Service.

Public vs Private Content

Public: Content in public repositories is visible to anyone. You grant the public permission to view and fork public repositories.

Private: Content in private repositories is only visible to authorized users. We access private Content only as necessary for providing the Service, security, support when requested, and legal compliance.

Paid Services

Billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance
  • Prices are in EUR unless otherwise specified
  • Prices exclude VAT where applicable
  • We may change prices with 30 days notice

Payment

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

Refunds & Cancellation

  • Annual plans: Prorated refund within first 30 days
  • Monthly plans: No refunds for partial periods
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing period

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR €100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Repolaris from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others
  • Your User Content

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, contact us to attempt informal resolution.

Jurisdiction

For any disputes, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the European Union.

General Terms

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and other policies, constitute the entire agreement.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Email notification
  • Notice in the Service
  • Updated effective date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
